About ‘Glück’ movie


Director and Writer Dorris Dörrie (Also Writer Ferdinand von Schirach) tells story of a girl was raped by soldiers in Macedonia. She escapes to Germany illegally and she meets with a homeless boy. 

Shooter story is told so softly that we can submit strange relation with girl and boy. The movie, stars are Andrea Sawatzki, Alba Rohrwacher, Vinzenz Kiefer, includes many tragedies in short time. Maybe it could be more tragic in a longertime. 

Director Dörrie critics German teenage life style and she positioned herself opposite of Michele Haneke who critics bourgeois society world wide. 

Alright, how does she do this? She uses violent elements in this movie much harder than Haneke. Dörrie’s visuals have directly violent acts by member of teenage, boy. It is too clear even more than Korean movies.

Short story


Caravan leaved where under of tree. Rising sun was drying leafs, windows and sun with wind were drying hair. Girlfriends, sleeping in back were from sea side village and he had to survive from them. But he remembered him.

He parked wayside and opened all doors. ‘Go down’ he shouted. They awaked up asked that where they were. ‘1 mil away from village’ he said. ‘If so take us back away’ they said. OK.

He drove back caravan. Girl was sitting next to him, other girl was in back. “Will you come back three times after leave us to village?’ girls asked. “No,” he said. “I will place to a hotel and you will go to other village with come back on this road with my caravan.” “And?” “And you will bring my friend who I will describe you.” “Why don’t you go back alone to there?” “I am tired and I must take away you to your village.”

He parked to a hotel garage in seaside village and hired a room. Girls were in caravan and he came back. “Who is your friend” girls asked. “You will tell him my name and that I will wait him at here. He can call me with mobile phone. I will wait you in front of hotel” he said and gave them address

Girls were on road. They were fast. They parked in front of home in address and knocked on the door. “Why didn’t he come?” Girls talked about story and said he was tired. “You can call him” girls said. “Doesn’t matter” man said and they departed back.

When they step up to hotel, man called friend. He said that he planned a sex party with those girls but girls didn’t want to speak about that until come to room.

He welcomed them in front of hotel, gave to man the key and said him to go up. “Right, would you like having shower girls” he asked. Girls were tired and shower was good idea.

They were drinking in room and girls were in shower. “Listen to me, our fantasy is that you to tie me and you to attack to girls” told to friend. “Oh shit! This is wonderful” man said.

Man tied him and took off dresses until girls go out from shower. Girls saw a tied man and a naked man when go out. Man attacked them and girls screamed again and again. While man tried to rape girl, her friend took a vase and shot to man’s head.

Man died, girls were arrested and he opened a beer in caravan.

Hikaye 2


            Yağmur başladı. Büyük mezar taşının dibine oturdu, hırkasını taşın tepesinden ayaklarına kadar gerdi. İlk kez tatil için geldiği küçük kentin sokaklarının en uzak noktasına kadar ilerlerken paslı kapının önünde bulmuştu kendini. Dizlerindeki pas izlerini çamur zannedip şaşırdı, ama mezarlığı gördüğünde yaşadığı şaşkınlık daha büyüktü. Bu kentten kimse ölmezdi, ölen de başka şehirlere götürülürdü. O zaman bu ölüler kimdi, kimindi?
            Yağmur başladı. İnsanların koşuşturarak içine doluştuğu bir dükkânın tentesine sığındı. İçeriden pencereyi açan el bir bardak çay uzattı. Yolda ilerlerken işyerine en kısa mesafedeki çay ocağının önünde bulmuştu kendini. Camdaki buhardan içeriyi göremediği için bütün sokağın oraya sığındığını zannedip şaşırdı, ama diğer tentelerin altında da çay içenleri gördüğünde yaşadığı şaşkınlık daha büyüktü. Bu sokakta kimse ocakların önünde çay içmezdi, içemezdi. O zaman yağmurdan kaçmak, kime kaça mal olmuştu, kime ne kadar kazandırmıştı?

Hikaye


Dışarı çıktı. Koltuğunda oturan adama, oturmaya devam edebileceğini söyleyerek, gazetesinin eklerinden birini istedi. Bulmacanın dört karesi büyüklüğünde bir resim gördü. Halıyı süpüren kadına bu tabloyu görüp görmediğini sordu. Kadın üçüncü kata çıkmasını önerdi, hemen ardından ekledi, “emin değilim.” Henüz birinci kattan çıkan merdivenlerde tabloyu gördü. Aşağı inen çocuk “ben çizdim onu” dedi. Sordu, “odama alabilir miyim, izin verirsen?”. “Odan? Nerede?” diye sordu çocuk, cevap verdi: “İki kat aşağıda.” “Merdivenin zincirinden kayarak inmeme yardım edersen olur” diye öneride bulundu çocuk. Merdivenin asılı olduğu zinciri tutarak tabloyu aldı, tırabzana yasladı. Sonra da çocuğu kucaklayarak zincire tutunmasını sağladı. Odasının kapısına geldiğinde çocuk kalabalığa karışmıştı.

İçeri girdi. Binanın güneşli bahçesinde bir aile yere oturmuş yemek yiyordu. Onlara aldırmadan yola çıktı, bir süre bekledikten sonra bir araba durarak sürücüsü nereye gideceğini sordu. Çiçekçiye gideceğini söyledi, tablosunun dibine çiçek yerleştirecek ve dalları alt çerçeveden resme uzanacaktı. Sürücü adam “iyi fikir” dedi. Sohbete dalıp farkında olmadan birkaç çiçekçinin önünden geçmişlerdi. Sürücü bir evin balkonunda güneşlenmeye çıkarılan begonyaları görünce, onları istemesini söyledi. Arabadan indi, çiçeklerini sulamak üzere balkona çıkan kadına begonyaları kendisine verip veremeyeceğini sordu. Kadının evin kapısına kadar getirdiği çiçekleri aldıktan sonra başka bir arabanın bagajına koyarak odasına dönmek üzere yola koyuldu.

The Poseidon Adventure and On The Waterfront movies


Paul Galicco’s novel was filmed by Ronald Neame (Director) and Irwin Allen (Producer).



I had watched On The Waterfront movie from director Elia Kazan while studying cinema at college. On The Waterfront is a story religionist intervention of employer issues. A priest interferes to issue between employers and boss. Alan Deleon is at lead role, do you remember?

When On The Waterfront movie was made in 1954, all artists had to touch religions against socialism. And a priest presents religionist salvation against employer-boss fight. Strange.

The Poseidon Adventure is a later movie (1972). It was made after 1960’s. Social opposition is out in USA and Europe but singular freedom is in. Nietzsche is learnt, Camus is read, Sartre is loved, everyone run to streets and squares.

Sermon, in Poseidon ship, is in a crossroad when ship capsizes. He doesn’t yield to fate, he tries victory again and again against dying in centre of sea. And he saves people despite him dies. He challenges to god and fate when dying.

We see agent of ship boss, when he says ‘faster, faster. Because we pay thousands of dollars per day of travelling.”
Sermon doesn’t pray for any victim who dies next to him. An old man loves and anterior prostitute and he travel with her.

Poseidon Adventure is a progressive movie. It has many awards and a good memorize in minds. If you haven’t see it yet, watch asap.

Victim of Rapping Bacca and a Theatre Spectacle


Theatre spectacle ‘Yollu’ is about Pippa Bacca, Italian performer, peace bride, who had been raped and killed in Turkey while she goes to Israel with bridal dress about 5 years ago.

But lead role is not Bacca in the spectacle. Writer Ali Ömür Ulusoy looks at the tragedy with angle of psycho, trucker driver who had raped and killed Pippa Bacca. Writer Ulusoy and director Bülent Çolak draws a psycho character who gets sick and applies to doctor. When he is cured he loses penis in hospital.

The spectacle claims that being owner penis is not related with raping culture, psychopathology and male-dominant society. The claim is that all pathology is established on dominant appeal which excludes the woman and unpowered people.

I think it is a kind of revenge from rapper man of victim Pippa Bacca. Writers, directors, all innocent people would like to revenge from rappers and killers but being castrate in spectacle looks like a primal revenge.

This is so primal revenge that I wonder claim of writer is powerful and scientific enough. I wonder being owner a penis is not related with domination and violence.

Because we know that some people who had been castrated in harems, moving femininely and their characters evaluate to more humane.
